Old, Fat & Drunk(Erie) 16 Boilermakers 4
Erie was rocking with a cookout to soften the humid afternoon. Bailey Maloney and Chris Merski tallied 5 goals each, with Tony Rondinelli another 4. Not an easy afternoon for the Boilers, who did not concede without a fight, as Jason Wiess scored 2 goals, another by Seanna Conway putting laser in the back of the net over Rithcjie K’s shoulder, and Mackenzie Mramor scoring from the edge of the crease. Rumor has it the Wiess clan also bagged some blue gills in the reservoir while fishing before the game too. Patrick Ball takes his 6th win in net as Erie takes top seed into the next round of playoffs, as well as winning the league regular season championship.
Painesville Furniture & Carpet 15 Havel’s Greenhouses 1

The PFC point total nonetheless soared from Mike Ingenthron (7), Jeremy Letterman (6), Tony Parenti (6), Jeff Burhenne (3), and Nick Larkin (4). The win in goal to Patrick Ball over Domenic Anselmo, who subbed for Tony Boris and had little rest.
