Conway Land Title 14 Quack Attack 11

The rink rocked under the feet of the fleet-footed pace set by both the Quack Attack and Conway Land Title—both undefeated. 7 goals from Anthony Krueger lead the way to victory and first place at 3-0 over the previously dominating Conway squad. Brother Evan added 4 goals and 3 assists, with support and more points from Connor Robbins, Adam Hayes and Adam Hatrek, with Domenic Anselmo in net. Conway Title’s rallies were nonetheless spectacular. A 5 goal rant from Neil Conway (Valpellice Bulldogs-Italy) paced the team, with defense and points from Jason Wiess (3), Garrett Sadler, Shawn Sadler, and a rock solid performance from Steve DiMatteo in net. While a timely Conway comeback seemed to rattle the otherwise confident Quack Attack, the big blue fell short in the last minutes of play.

Big Red Machine 13 Boilermakers 10

The talent laden Mentor Hockey filled roster of Red cut loose on a stubborn Boilermakers entourage with goals by Charlie Cilensek, Jake Tackett, Evan McBride and Connor Stump to pave the way to a win. AJ Bailey, Zach Grandstaff, Brian Przybyszewski and Pat Kristo made life difficult for the Red Machine. All had points contesting a narrow, battle-weary loss at an exhausting tempo. Goalies Kish and Kloss were in good form for an overall great game of dek hockey, with speed to burn by both teams.
